Hiring a moter scooter is a great way to get around Moorea from Les Tipaniers; as Moorea is not a huge island (you could travel right around the island in an hour without stopping) and a scooter or car enables you to drop into roadside cafés and any of the major resorts for a snack… The open-air "snack" restaurant on the beach has a variety excellent breakfast options from local fruit to baguette and cheese to full-on eggs, bacon, and hash browns, and is very convenient and accommodating.... More We had 2 locals recommend here, plus we saw the good reviews, so we figured we better try it out, and I'm glad we did. A eviter.For the price, we were not thrilled with the bland food. We’ve stayed here twice and I would definitely stay here again, however my daughter isn’t in to it. Stay at the Moorea Sunset Beach!!!!! The food was delicious and very affordable! Breeze is wonderful and boats pull up right to where the tables are. The fried Mahi Mahi...A great place for lunch or dinner in Moorea. Hotel Les Tipaniers: My Favorite Place!!!
